Regulation of peptidergic vesicle mobility by secretagogues
CL Washburn, JE Bean, MA Silverman, MJ Pellegrino, PA Yates and RG Allen

Video 1, Close-up of a protoprocess of an NS20Y cell expressing OFQ-GFP. The movie shows the playback of a 78 second time-lapse recording (18x real time). Note the accumulation of OFQ-GFP filled vesicles at the tip (bottom center of frame) of the structure. Bi-directional traffic of OFQ-GFP vesicles is also apparent in the cell body and in the proximal and distal portions of the protoprocess.

Video 2, Whole cell view of an NS20Y cell expressing OFQ-GFP. The movie shows the playback of a 78 second time-lapse recording (25x real time). The protoprocesses, or cell tips, contain several OFQ-GFP filled vesicles. Vectorial movement of OFQ-GFP filled vesicles is evident in the cell body and protoprocesses. Some of the OFQ-GFP filled vesicles remain stationary during the recording.

Video 3, The cell body and proximal processes of a cultured hippocampal neuron expressing OFQ-GFP. The movie shows the playback of a 78 second time-lapse recording (25x real time). Bi-directional, vectorial movement of OFQ-GFP filled vesicles is evident in the cell body and proximal processes. Some of the OFQ-GFP filled vesicles remain stationary during the recording.
