Appendix 1: Laser scanning confocal imaging of a INS-1 cell showing that directed insulin granule movements occur along the microtubules. Microtubules were labelled with EGFP-tubulin and insulin granules with Lysotracker Red. Time interval between frames: 1,5 s.
